March 20–22, 2026 | Winnipeg Winter Club

Join the Manitoba water polo community for our inaugural MWPA Summit, a weekend dedicated to developing athletes, supporting coaches and officials, and strengthening our sport across the province.

We are excited to welcome Team Canada athlete Léo Hachem, who will lead pool training sessions and classroom discussions throughout the weekend.

Programming includes athlete training sessions, a coach roundtable, minor officials training, and presentations on mental performance and inclusive sport.

The weekend concludes with a Celebration Lunch on Sunday, where we will announce the Athlete of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards and host a silent auction.

Thanks to support from Sport Manitoba, the Summit is offered at a deeply discounted rate.

Athletes $40 | Coaches $25 | Minor Officials $25

Celebration Lunch tickets: $12

The Manitoba Water Polo Association acknowledges that the work we do takes place on the traditional lands and waterways of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, and Nehethowuk peoples, as well as the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

As a community, we remain committed to fostering positive and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities. We also recognize that the privileges and benefits we enjoy as citizens of Canada are rooted in long standing treaties and historical relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples. We are all treaty people and accept our responsibility to honour all relations.
