Train with an Olympian

January 2-4, 2025

Shae La Roche is coming home to Winnipeg to lead a three-day camp for athletes to discuss what it takes to become an elite-level water polo player.

Shae started playing water polo at age 14 at the suggestion of a teacher at school. Before the first practice Shae thought the one-piece suit was ugly and the sport was strange. However, once in the water (which she had always loved) she quickly fell in love with water polo… and dreamed about playing in the Olympics one day.

Shea has been on the National team with Water Polo Canada since 2014 and reached her Olympic goal as part of TEAM CANADA by participating in the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
