The Manitoba Water Polo Association will be hosting a Summit for Members of all ages in March 2026 entitled How to Succeed Together.

We are postponing the kick off event planned for January to partner with something BIG. We can't give any hints, but it is going to be HUGE.

The Summit will now take place March 20 - 22, 2026 with keynote speakers, professional development for coaches and officials, governance and strategic planning sessions for club boards. The blend of networking and learning will provide immense value to anyone involved in water polo, including athletes, officials, coaches and administrators.

The event will include the announcement of our Athlete of the Year and Volunteer of the Year Awards, as sponsored by Paz General Contractor.

More information will be released soon!

Thank you to Sport Manitoba for their generous funding of our Summit.

The Manitoba Water Polo Association acknowledges that the work we do takes place on the traditional lands and waterways of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, and Nehethowuk peoples, as well as the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

As a community, we remain committed to fostering positive and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities. We also recognize that the privileges and benefits we enjoy as citizens of Canada are rooted in long standing treaties and historical relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples. We are all treaty people and accept our responsibility to honour all relations.
